Chris Orwig

Chris Orwig is a Photographer, author and educator who is based in Santa Barbara, California where he is continually inspired by the proximity of the ocean, mountains and Channel Islands. His work is widely sought after and he enjoys a diverse and varied client base. Apart from pursuing his passion to photograph the world, Chris considers it a great privilege to be on the faculty at the world reknown Brooks Institute of Photography.

Chris Orwig's photography reflects his personal focus and vision. From a young age, he was drawn to explore the world with a desire to unveil the simple and elegant beauty in the seemingly ordinary. This focus has only grown as he blends it with a vision to depict and illuminate the soul of the various subjects he photographs.
