Starting with a point and shot camera he made his way and after 6 months earned the "Ad of the Year" award with Yamaha Motor Corporation, US.
Spending the first 35 years of his life in Germany, Frank raced Moto Cross from 1979 to 1987 and earned the nickname 'Kamikaze-Hoppen'. He raced as the first Yamaha Germany Factory rider for Jet Ski's and 6 German and 2 Belgian Championships later he moved to southern California in the Spring of 1997.

It was here that he found the time to combine his two loves. Action sports and Photography. Starting with a point and shot camera he made his way and after 6 months a Yamaha ad shot by Frank was voted "Ad of the Year" by a motorcycle publication. What started as an early retirement hobby became bigger and bigger and soon Frank had established relationships with nearly 70 magazines around the world and all of the Moto Cross industry including manufacturers such as Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha.
